Quality Assurance

ODIS products are well known for their quality, reliability and innovation. Quality Assurance (QA) is implemented at all stages of the development, design and production cycle, as specified by International Standard ISO-9001, and as authorized by the Israeli Standards Institute.

High QA standards are applied in the R&D departments, in the design services, in the manufacturing plants and eventually while installing and testing the system in the assembly stage and in the customer’s premises.

Research and Development

Our research and development division has a large and advanced testing grounds specially designed for developing new filters and improving existing products.

The modern R&D laboratory and pilot facilities are especially designed to develop new products and technologies and to improve existing ones. Many ODIS products feature international registered patents. ODIS has had beneficial experience in collaborating with the Chief Scientist to create new products, technologies and processes.

Our R&D team includes engineers and product developers.

Engineering

A multi-disciplinary team of experts provides consulting and design services. ODIS product development is based on extensive experience and know-how, as reflected by the design and provision of proprietary solutions for different problems.

Odis engineering team includes engineers who design filtration systems for different applications. Our engineering team also designs special products for special application or per customers demand.

ODIS generates computer assisted designs for each custom filtration application. Every detail is scrutinized by our professional staff to ensure that our customers will have complete knowledge of the product which we are manufacturing for them.

The uniqueness of Odis is the ability to harness the engineering team into providing each customer with a 'tailor made' solution to his need; many of Odis customers are provided with specially made products in terms of product layout, color scheme, materials etc.

Our engineering team will be delighted to find the best solution for each problem that may accrue. We encourage our customer to ask for specially made solutions.

Manufacturing

Every product manufactured by ODIS receives the utmost attention from quality of design, integrity of products up to superiority of workmanship. Each product or filtration system is drawn to scale for construction purposes by our drafting personnel utilizing advanced drawing programs. Sophisticated technologies are used in ODIS factory floor, plus innovative robotics and automation, which are used in the production of the supplied components.

Welding and assembling operations are performed by skilled technicians, whose quality master-ship is followed up by specialized techniques required to prepare the filters and other main system components for extended, maintenance-free operation.

ODIS manufacturing technology utilizes advanced coating and finishing processes.

Products coating process

ODIS has introduced an improved process for product coating.

This process provides ODIS's products with maximum anti-corrosion protection and safeguards against common agricultural chemicals and corrosive working environment.

The standard coating process includes a phosphatization phase. During this phase, a protective layer of zinc-phosphate is created. This layer protects the steel against corrosion and strengthens the adhesion of the coating.

The coating process is performed in 7 stages, as follows:

1st stage: Automated shotblast cleaning of products to a level of SA2½ as per international standard ISO 8501.
2nd stage: Phosphatization
3nd stage: Rinsing
4nd stage: Sealing
5nd stage: Drying
6nd stage: Electrostatic polyester spraying
7nd stage: Oven curing

This process creates a perfectly coated product with a protective layer of 120 micron.
